Planning your big day can seem overwhelming, so I like to offer all my couples whatever help I can provide to make things easier. In that spirit, here’s a list of some good eggs I’ve worked with in the past, that I’m happy to recommend. Celebrants
Jean Bodie - Jean and I have worked a few weddings together and she delivers a really thoughtful and personal ceremony.
John Paul Fitzpatrick - JP was our celebrant at our wedding and I can’t speak highly enough of him! Full of energy, really helped a nervous bride with her vows, and our guests all loved him!
Kiltwear
Clyde Kilts - Iain and his team made a bespoke kilt for me for my wedding and it’s second to none. He also came along on the day and helped get me and my groomsmen looking sharp.

White Velvet Events - I’ve worked with Ann on numerous weddings and she’s super-organised - she’ll keep you on track and can make excellent recommendations on suppliers.
Bagpipers
The Wee Pied Piper - Reece was our piper at our wedding - lovely guy, great piper and rocks a mean ‘Thunderstruck’!
Brad the Piper - I’ve met Brad at a few weddings in Ayrshire - he’s warm, personable and really knows his stuff.
Magician
Scott Cuthbertson - have you ever seen a human being bend a coin? Have you ever seen them do it while someone else is holding it? If the answer to those questions is ‘no’ - give Scott a call.
Videography
Sasquatch Media - Gary and I work together regularly on weddings - he adopts the same ‘Fly on the Wall’ approach as I do, so we’re pretty well in sync! He’s also very funny (which has no bearing on the video but does make him excellent company on the day).
Travel Agent
Julie Bennett – Brilliant Travel - Julie helped us plan our honeymoon for September ‘24. We had no real ideas so she helped us get a rough idea of what we were after then narrow it down to a few options. Our honeymoon was amazing, and she made sure it was superlative with a few wee thoughtful touches.
